⚠️ Note: Due to compatibility issues, Smart Switch may not be available on certain devices. Ensure both devices have at least 500 MB of free space in their internal memory for data transfer. If you experience wireless network disconnections, disable “Wi-Fi initialize” and “Disconnect low Wi-Fi signal” in your device’s advanced Wi-Fi settings (options may vary by device manufacturer and OS version).

The following permissions are required for the app service:

• Phone: To confirm your phone number (Android 12 or lower).
• Call logs: To transfer call log data (Android 9 or higher).
• Contacts: To transfer contacts data.
• Calendar: To transfer calendar data.
• SMS: To transfer SMS data.
• Storage: To save files for data transfer (Android 11 or lower).
• Files and media: To save files for data transfer (Android 12).
• Photos and Videos: To save files for data transfer (Android 13 or higher).
• Microphone: For high-frequency audio when searching for Galaxy devices.
• Nearby devices: To search for nearby devices using Wi-Fi or Bluetooth (Android 12 or higher).
• Location: To connect via Wi-Fi Direct (Android 12 or lower).
• Notifications: To provide data transfer progress updates (Android 13 or higher).
