Important Notes 📝:
- All financial services, including account opening and product subscription, are available through the K Bank app.
- Be sure to read the product description and terms and conditions before signing up for any financial product.
- When registering as a member, have your resident registration card or driver's license ready for verification.
Android OS Security Change Policy 🛡️: In Android OS 11 or higher, the joint certificate you used may not be visible if it is not saved in the smartphone public folder (NPKI). Please reissue a joint certificate or transfer the certificate saved on your PC to the app. For more information, search [Customer Center > Frequently Asked Questions] certificate.
Terminal and Authentication Method Policy 🔒: For safe and convenient financial services, the app can only be used on one registered device. K Bank provides a secure service with a mobile phone OTP that replaces a traditional security card. For safe financial transactions, the service is restricted on ‘rooted’ terminals.
Access Permissions 🔑: When using the app, the following access permissions are required:
- Phone (required): Collect and use phone numbers to maintain device authentication status and to authenticate video calls.
- App usage information (required): Used to detect apps that may pose a threat installed on devices to prevent financial accidents.
- Contact information (optional): Used when sending money to contacts in the address book.
- Camera (optional): Used to take photos of ID cards and submit required documents during non-face-to-face real name authentication.
- Storage space (optional): Used for certificate reading, saving, deleting, image, and photo storage functions.
If you are using Android OS 6.0 or lower, all optional access rights are required. After upgrading to Android OS 6.0 or higher, you can set access permissions by deleting and reinstalling the K Bank app.
